I've been drawn to the vibration of strings for as far back as I can remember. I used to open up the top of our family's heirloom piano and strum the strings inside. My dad had a '58 Gibson (pictured) that I picked up when I was about 14. I'd play it before school picking out what melodies I could by ear. I've been adding to that curiosity since playing in a number of bands in several states winning awards and gigging constantly.

Sarah Mittlefehldt

Saturated by the lakes in the Boundary Waters Wilderness of Minnesota Sarah's voice has been the bell of the landscape since early childhood. Years of choir and being in bands as diverse as ska and bluegrass taught her to share rythmn and rhyme in fitting ways. Her sounds ring true in all she does.
